Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@sofacoveruk.com. If your return is accepted, you will be required to pay the return shipping costs. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

WHEN I CAN RECEIVE MY REFUND? (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 3-5 business days. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days, this is dictated by your bank or card issuer.

Your refund will deduct the original shipping cost. At the same time, you need to bear the return shipping cost, except for damaged packages.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPPING COSTS?

If the product is not usable, due to our fault (such as size, improper damage, or quality problems), we will bear the freight for replacement and rescheduling of the returned product and the return, but if you purchase the product by mistake or error, you will have to bear the freight for the original shipping and return.

Important Information

As we cannot resell products, the environmental footprint of shipping returns back to us is unnecessary (and goes against our values as a business). Instead, we encourage customers who have ordered the wrong size to accept a replacement cover sent to them.

Our focus is getting you the product you really want.

We kindly ask customers who have replacements sent to them to recycle locally, donate to charity, upcycle the material or give to a friend. 

Please go through the replacement and refunds section below to understand what will happen to your order in certain scenarios. If you are still unsure, please write to us at support@sofacoveruk.com.

I've ordered the wrong size or my SofaCoverUK doesn't fit

We understand that you may order an incorrect size, here's what you can do:

• 1. Contact our Support Centre with your order number and let us know what's happened.

• 2. You must provide images of the sofa cover applied / attempted to be applied to the sofa.

• 3. If we see the cover doesn’t fit, we will offer to ship you the correct size.

• 4. Before shipment, we require you to pay for the price difference in sizes. As well as processing and shipping fees.

• 5. We ship your fresh new covers and provide you with an updated tracking number.

• 6. You receive your new covers within 5 - 12 days.

• 7. Note that this must be done within 30 days of receiving the SofaCoverUK.

My SofaCoverUK is damaged on delivery

In the unlikely event that your package is damaged, please carefully follow our returns process to minimise any delays:

• 1. Contact our Support Centre with your order number.

• 2. Send us a clear picture of the outer packaging, including any damages.

• 3. You must make sure you contact us within the warranty period of 30 days.

Possible Solutions:

• If damage is present, SofaCoverUK will dispatch a new item immediately, we do not issue refunds for damaged items.

I have received an incorrect item or items are missing

Please be sure to open the parcel and carefully check the contents before signing for the package.

For any issues, please carefully follow our returns process to minimise any delays:

• 1. Contact our Support Centre with your order number.

• 2. Send us a clear picture of the outer packaging, all shipping labels visible, and (if applicable) the item received.

• 3. You must make sure you contact us within the warranty period of 30 days.

Possible Solutions:

• If there is an item missing, we will resend the missing item/accessory for free within the warranty period.

• If we have shipped the wrong item: we will dispatch an alternative item (if applicable and available).

I would like to cancel my order

If for whatever reason you wish to cancel an order, please contact us immediately either by using our live chat or email at support@sofacoveruk.com within 30 minutes. Unfortunately, if the order has already been dispatched, we would be unable to carry out the cancellation request.

Warranty exemption

1. Natural product degradation through wear and tear, along with breakage/damage during use, is solely the customer’s responsibility and is not covered by our warranties.

2. If the customer has damaged/misused the item(s), the product’s warranty is immediately rendered void. No compensation is available in such cases. However, customers are welcome to contact us to purchase a replacement or spare parts (if applicable). We will charge the original value of the components and a shipping fee to dispatch them.

What if I am unhappy with the quality of my order?

Spill-Resistance

SofaCoverUK covers are spill proof, resisting small amounts of liquid for a short amount of time, but not waterproof. To ensure that your Sofa is 100% safe, customers must wipe up stains and spills as soon as they happen. If left too long some liquid will get through - but our sofa covers will certainly buy you enough time to soak it up.  For defective spill-resistant products, we will offer a replacement.

Fabric Quality

The SofaCoverUK is made from a bespoke mixture of Polyester and Spandex to keep it stretchy, but at the same time strong and durable. We have standard and spill-resistant versions, plus extra-thick durable versions. If you are not sure which one is best for you, please contact our support team who will guide you. For defective products, we will offer a replacement.

Pet Damage

Our stretchy sofa covers are decorative pieces designed to protect the sofa underneath from daily wear and tear. If your pet is used to sleeping on your sofa, our covers will protect the sofa underneath from excess hair and dirt. However, if you have a destructive pet, our stretchy sofa covers are not designed to be attacked, scratched or bitten.

We are not responsible for pet damage to our universal stretchy sofa covers. You may require one of our thicker, heavy duty products - please contact customer support at support@sofacoveruk.com for more information.
